LIKO-S, a leading manufacturing and family-owned construction company based in Slavkov u Brna, has introduced the world's first living hall, LIKO-Vo, which can reduce thermal radiation and cool the surrounding area by up to 10 °C more than other halls. It uses the concept of 'living buildings' based on natural thermal stabilisation provided by a green roof and facade, a retention pond and other technologies.
We created clean and timeless office spaces next to the production hall. Due to the structured and varied nature of the building itself, we decided to design the offices with a technical touch to match its appearance to the production area consisting of a welding hall. Solitary elements building on the green facade and roof were used to enliven the space. A spacious terrace and garden with different types of seating provide a place to relax after work.
