Our current client, SMC, has entrusted us with the expansion of their offices in Brno. We carried out both construction and interior works in the space. We created new closed offices for the company's management as well as open space for effective employee collaboration. The entire interior traditionally bears a reference to the company's Japanese origins - the wallpaper, furniture and the overall concept of the space. For example, the phoneboxes are interesting, in which we used wallpaper with natural motifs and, as a reference to traditional Japanese architecture, curtains instead of traditional ceilings. In addition to their aesthetic function, they also improve the acoustics for echo-free conversations.
Another unconventional feature is the windows facing directly from the office into the warehouse area. Even in the kitchen, you won't lose track of what's going on in the company.
The Japanese theme, which refers to the company's origins, runs throughout the office. The wall is decorated with a scene of a Japanese landscape.
The furniture respects the lightness of the interior and corresponds to the Japanese way of thinking - simplicity, functionality, quality materials.
